Citing Electronic and Digital Sources
The same principles that apply to citing work found in printed form also apply to work found on the internet, including photos, drawings, artwork, graphs, and charts, etc.
The way you cite also depends on the field of study of the assignment and if the citation is in text, in a footnote, or in a reference page or bibliography. Your instructor is the source for which style to use.
Your School Media Specialist will show you how to use NoodleTools. The "Citation Machine" and "EasyBib" are additional free online tools that can be used for siting electronic sources.
- NoodleTools (District subscription - students login through their WHPS Google account)
- The Citation Machine (Free on the web)
- EasyBib (Free on the web)
