AimswebPlus for Online Test Administration

Identify the device that will be used for the AimswebPlus (TestNav) assessment: 

Devices on loan from WHPS:

  • Chromebooks: AimswebPlus (TestNav) is loaded on these devices
  • iPads (version 12 or above): the AimswebPlus (TestNav) app is loaded on these devices

Devices personally owned by the family:

  • Chromebook - The assessment cannot be taken on personally owned Chromebooks (the assessment works on Chromebooks managed by WHPS). The application can be installed but does not function without being in requisite kiosk mode. Please make plans to use an alternate device.
  • Windows computer - a parent/guardian needs to install the software from https://download.testnav.com. Here are instructions to Set Up TestNav on Windows.
  • Mac OS computer - a parent/guardian needs to install the software from https://download.testnav.com. Here are instructions to Set Up TestNav on OS X, macOS. Here is a tutorial. 
  • iPad (version 12 or above) - a parent/guardian needs to install the software from the App Store. Here is a tutorial.

Logging into AimswebPlus

Students in Grade 2 will login in with the username and password which will be sent to families in an email. Students in Grades 3-5 will sign in using their Google credentials. 

System Requirements

TestNav apps run in kiosk mode to prevent students from accessing any other web pages or applications while testing. Specific System Requirements. 

Please confirm that the device your child will use for testing has an adequate operating system.
