Covid Dashboard 2022-2023 School Year
Fall 2022 Update
The West Hartford Public Schools (WHPS) looks forward to the continued transition from a pandemic emergency response model towards a more standard public health approach to addressing COVID-19. To maximize successful in-person learning and minimize the impact of respiratory disease, WHPS will follow guidance from the Center for Disease Control (CDC), the Connecticut State Department of Education (CSDE), the Department of Public Health (DPH), and will work closely with the West Hartford/ Bloomfield Health Board to implement thoughtful and familiar strategies. Throughout the year, WHPS will closely monitor any outbreak of respiratory illness and respond appropriately with flexible prevention strategies as conditions change.
