METAMORPHOSES AT HALL HS
Hall High School Theater Arts Department will present its spring production of the two-thousand year old play Metamorphoses beginning Wednesday April 23rd and ending Saturday, May 3rd.
The Metamorphoses by the Roman poet Ovid is a narrative poem in fifteen books describing the creation of the world. Written in 8 AD, it is one of the most well-known works of mythology. The play features an ensemble cast of more than forty characters and takes place in and around a pool of water constructed in Hall High's Black Box Theatre.A special matinee performance for students and senior citizens is set for 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 23rd. That day, an evening show will be held at 7:00 p.m., the normal start time for the rest of the production. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students and seniors. Reservations are recommended because of limited seating in the theater and can be made by calling 860-232-4561, Ext. 1066.
