HISTORY TEACHER OF THE YEAR
Liz Devine, Hall High School social studies teacher, has been announced as the recipient of the Secondary School Teacher of the Year award, given by the New England History Teachers Association.
This prestigious regional award is given by the New England History Teacher’s Association, which represents middle school, high school and university educators in all New England states. The awards committee noted Liz’s work in teaching American history as well as her extensive work in the teaching of human rights. Her American history course at Hall HS brings together the teaching of American history, literature and culture in a truly interdisciplinary model.
