Bristow Lottery
The Bristow Middle School lottery for the upcoming 2008-09 school year will be held in January. Applications for incoming sixth graders are due by January 4, 2008 and for incoming seventh and eighth graders by March 31, 2008. There are only a small number of anticipated vacancies for grades seven and eight. For incoming sixth graders, there will be a separate lottery for each elementary school. Seventy students from King Philip feeder schools and 70 students from Sedgwick feeder schools will be admitted.

Lottery results will be mailed to parents in January, and will be followed by two informational sessions held at Bristow on February 4th and 12th, at 6:30 p.m.
West Hartford residents whose children do not attend West Hartford public schools or the University of Hartford Magnet School may apply for the lottery through the WHPS Residency office. All students who attend West Hartford Public Schools or are West Hartford residents attending the University of Hartford Magnet School are automatically entered in the lottery.
