Q. What is the first day of school?
A. This year it's Tuesday, September 4, 2007. However, High School Freshman orientation is Thursday, August 30. The Elementary Open House schedule is: August 28-Smith, August 29-Aiken, Braeburn, Morley, August 30-Webster Hill, Whiting Lane. Check with the schools for the times.
Q. What is the last day of school?
A. This year it's June 24, 2008 because we had snow days.
Q. When is graduation?
A. The graduation date for the high schools this year will be June 19. This date does not change even if we have snow days.
Q. When are the parent/teacher conferences?
A. Check with the schools for the dates and times.
Q. What are the testing dates?
A. CMT and CAPT will be March 3-31, 2008

Q. We're moving from another country. What is required for my child to start school as soon as possible?
A. Due to the new and always changing immigration regulations call the Registrar Office for information and updates.

Q. Can a child from out of district pay tuition to attend WHPS?
A. At present we are not accepting tuition students. Please call the Registrar Office for further details.
