Dr. Fuller in Haiti

Dr. Robert Fuller, head of emergency medicine at the Health Center, has just returned from Haiti where he worked as a physician-volunteer with the International Medical Corps’ Emergency Response Team.

Dr. Fuller is also the parent of students at Whiting Lane Elementary School and King Philip Middle School.  In his absence the two schools conducted fund-raisers, collecting over $3,400 for Haitian earthquake relief, to be donated to the International Medical Corps.

Other West Hartford Public Schools have also raised funds in a variety of ways, including candy sales and collections during lunch periods, to provide cash for relief organizations.
