A Letter from the Principal

Dear Students,

Welcome back! I would like to offer a special welcome to the members of the Class of 2006. I hope you all had an enjoyable summer filled with fun and relaxation.

I am very excited about the start of another year of learning and look forward to combining my energy and excitement with yours for a successful school year. I am especially excited because this new school year brings a number of positive changes, including 17 new full and part time teachers who join the best faculty in the state to support you in your learning experience! In addition, during the summer we added a new computer lab, new adventure training equipment in the gymnasium, and renovated several classrooms to support your educational needs.

I hope recent changes in some of our policies demonstrate our commitment to listening and working with the student body to continue to make improvements at Hall High school. As we begin this new school year, I look forward to working with the student leadership as we continue to address the needs and concerns of all our students.

Hall High School has a rich and proud history. We will continue to strive for excellence in academics, athletics, fine and performing arts, student leadership and community service projects.

Hall is an exciting place and has much to offer. With the start of the new school year, I encourage you to set realistic and meaningful goals for yourself, and to make a personal commitment to your learning and growth to include activities outside the classroom.

Remember, the faculty, administration, and other staff are here to provide you with the resources you will need to succeed.

“Together we are proud. Together we are Hall High!”

Have a great year!

Sincerely,
Donald Slater, Ph.D.
Proud Interim Principal
