Welcome to the theater department of Hall High School. Here at Hall we take great pride in our academics, but we also have a crave for electives. One of these fantastic elective is drama. Drama education offers students unusual opportunities to develop problem-solving abilities, communication potential through use of body and voice and interest in cultural heritage as reflected in dramatic works.
The Theatre Arts Department offers courses which provide a variety of experiences for students of all abilities and backgrounds. These courses are designed sequentially for those who plan a career in theatre or communications or for those interested in these fields as vocations. Some of the courses listed are open to all students; others require prerequisites for enrollment. Any can be taken with prior departmental permission. Students enrolled in theatre classes accept the obligation to participate in major, scheduled events. All students must attend rehearsals and must participate in performances unless excused for religious reasons.
