FACULTY

The subject of art is an exciting, challenging and rewarding field of study. In art courses, students are challenged to see, and think about, the world from different viewpoints. Each class offers opportunities for artistic growth, for increasing knowledge about art and for developing important skills, and creative thinking.

Course offerings provide guided learning experiences with two-dimensional and three-dimensional art forms and concepts. A variety of subject matter, materials, tools and production techniques are explored. Art criticism and art history are an integral part of all coursework.

The courses encourage students to make connections with other disciplines through class discussions, projects, readings, lectures, guest speakers and field trips.
