Writer of the Week
The ultimate writing honor at Wolcott, each student who is selected as Writer of the Week is celebrated in many ways.
First, the writing is hung just outside the office for all to see.
Second, the writer is immortalized in a one-of-a-kind Green Ink poster.
Finally, the Writer of the Week is part of a Town Meeting skit, performed with Mr. Dicks. The writer acts out a particular word, and from his or her performance, the students of Wolcott must try to figure out the meaning of the word.
