Word of the Week

One of the best parts of being Writer of the Week is that you get to perform a skit with Mr. Dicks at Town Meeting. Each week Mr. Dicks and the Writer of the Week pick a word that will be acted out. This performance can also include friends, parents, or even other teachers!

While this skit is being performed, the students of Wolcott attempt to figure out what the word of the week means. The following week they submit the definition and a creative sentence to the Magical Mailbox. Mr. Dicks then randomly picks five lucky winners to receive 100 Wolcoids each. Along with that, the three most creative sentences are put up on the word of the week board.
