Dinner Anyone?

Who is a role model?  Who is the best cook I’ve ever met?  And who is just a great time?  The answer is, whoever’s going to my dinner party.

          First, I would like to introduce you to my Dad.  But, how did he get invited to the party?  Well, he has many reasons to come, he is very smart, he even helped teach me long division, the thing that I thought was impossible.  He also knows how to start a good conversation, even when I introduce him to new people.  He can’t even stop talking with the new neighbors that he just met .He also loves nature, and going on walks. He’s very nice, to everyone he meets.  And, he’s friendly, but really, a great time.  How do you think he met the new neighbors!  He also has good manners, and when I tell you who else is coming, you’ll know why this is so important.

             Now, you can meet my grandmother.  She will also attend my party.  She will help keep it going because she would probably help cook.  But why would I want my grandmother to help cook?  Well, she is a very talented cook, I don’t know all of her recipes, but, I know many.  Like her potatoes, she can make the best potatoes ever, mashed or anything else.  And her soup, it’s the best.  A while ago, when she had friends over, she didn’t even know what she was going to cook, because her guests brought food with them, and my grandmother made soup for them from what they brought.  But, her best soup is chicken and rice soup.  But she isn’t just coming because she can cook, she’s nice to everyone, she loves learning, nature, smart and nice people, and she also has great manners.  I’ve never seen her do anything against table-manners at a table. Like my dad she’s also nice to everyone she meets, well the ones who deserve it. But, she can also always find a way to keep everyone entertained.  And last about her, she would be super friendly, so all the guest would like and get to know her.

Now, you will know why I say that I saved the best for last; Benjamin Franklin would be attending my party!  Why is the best for last though?  Well, he is a famous inventor, a nice role model, also enjoys nature,  and also has great manners.  So, let’s start with Benjamin being an inventor, he is famous for his invention called electricity.  He was having some fun during a lightening storm, he put a key on a kite and flew the kite in the lightening storm, as a result, he invented electricity.  He’s also (as you know) a nice role model.  But, how do I know this?  Because I’ve met many people who look up to him, and one of them is me. He also enjoys a good breath of fresh air. But has great manners, because in his time he had to know all his manners at a very young age.

            So, now you know who would come to my dinner party and that they would go well together, they all have manners, and all have a talent that they can talk about.  So, next time you wonder who you would invite to your dinner party, stop, think, you might just pick Benjamin Franklin.
