When Snow Falls

When snow falls, flakes parachute

out of the clouds.

Ghosts come out of trees and bushes.

Squirrels nestle into their homes,

piled with leaves to keep them warm.

Kids pretend to be astronauts as they

trudge through the snow.

When snow falls, families sit by

the ferocious fire in

the fire place while drinking

steaming hot chocolate.

The snow flies down

without a sound while

people are asleep in bed

and never want to come out.
