The Dugout

Its the top of the ninth with two outs and a runner on third . The Cubs are losing to the Red Sox ten to zero . The Cubs put in a pinch hitting rookie . He steps out of the dugout and the whole crowd is booing him and he just stood still . The veteran Nomar behind him is saying pack your bags boy because the rookies up and he's going to strikeout . The rookie picks up hi bat and steps in the batters box and he was so nerves his knees are shivering non-stop .he watched the first pitch go bye for ball one the next two pitchs go bye for balls. The third base coach tells him to take a pitch so he did for strike one he swings at the next pitch and he wiffs at a gift pitch to work the count full. The first base coach signals for a steal . Here comes the three two pitch and the runner is breaking for home the rookie hits it deep to center field . It could go all the waaaay see you later it's a two run
