Dinner Party

A notorious congresswoman; An actress that was the princess in the movie “Princess Diaries;” A wonderful writer who had written The Wish; Who are these women? They are the women who are coming to my dinner party that's who!

My first guest with the quality of daring is Jeanette Rankin. I say she is daring because she loved Lady America (United States of America) so much she thought she needed to be in congress so that she can protect it. She did a good job when she started, but then President Woodrow Wilson declared that the United States should join World War 1. The whole congress agreed on joining the war, except Rankin, and I respect that. Then there was World War 2, Teddy Roosevelt told the congress that he wanted to join World War 2 after Japan bombed Pearl Harbor. She also was the only one that said no to the war. Then she was automatically notorious. That means famous but no liked. She said no to all of the wars and nobody else “stood beside her.” She reminds me of the phrase, “stand up for what is right, even if you're standing alone.”

My second dinner party guest with the quality of talent is Anne Hathaway. She has he quality of talent because she can sing, dance, and act beautifully. That is why she is my favorite actress. She always gets god parts in movies like, “Princess Diaries, “Princess Diaries 2,” and “Hoodwinked.” And she was Ella in the movie “Ella Enchanted.” Before it was a movie, it was a book, by...

Gail Carson Levine; She is my third dinner party guest with the quality of creativity; She is creative because she is a great author and writes romantic fantasies. The books I read by her are Ella Enchanted, The Wish, Fairest, and my favorite, The Two Princesses of Bamarre. And I enjoyed them all. She is probably my favorite author. I look for her books at bookstores, she taught me new words, and she even inspired me to become a writer!
