Artist of the Week — 2006-2007
Every Wolcott artist dreams being celebrated as the Artist of the Week. Each week, the Artrepreneurs select a work of art, and its creator is awarded this honor. The artist then has their artwork posted just outside of the office by the "Writer of the Week," and is immortalized in a poster by the students of Green Inc.
Along with having his or her artwork displayed for the whole school to see, the Artist of the Week participates in a video created by the I-Team and Mr. Clay that features the Artist of the Week as well as the professional artist who inspired the work. This video is then shown at Town Meeting for the Wolcott community to see.
