Introduction Task Process Resources Evaluation
Our thirteen colonies were anything but united when the first battles began. Some colonies were willing to join the conflict; others were prospering under British rule. For most colonists, England was the mother country; they were part of the mighty British Empire. Who were the people with the courage and vision to lead an unruly group of colonies against a great world power? Which event was most crucial to the outcome of this war?

The "Daughters and Sons of Liberty" have proposed the adoption of a new $1776 bill to commemorate our independence. This bill will have a portrait of a person on one side, and the picture of a significant event on the other. Who and what best represent the Revolutionary War era?
Through your research and reporting you will select the winners!
