Literature Connections

School library media specialists are excellent resources for classroom teachers.  We strive to create a collaborative relationship with classroom teachers.  A part of this collaboration is  recommending books that support the curriculum in all areas and for CMT  objectives.  We also provide information about books that span a variety of reading and interest levels.  Collections in library media centers support the curriculum and reflect the culture and interests of the students in the school. 

These lists were generated from a variety of sources including but not limited to library media specialists and classroom teachers of West Hartford,  LM_NET,  and the Read, Write, Think website.  This will be a work in progress with new titles being added through out next school year.
