Monthly Relay Races

Once a month in the gym you will hear lots of cheering and yelling as students participate in monthly relay races.  Some of these include Halloween Boo races, Turkey Gobble races, Reindeer relays, etc.  The students are taught early in Pre-K and Kindergarten how to shuttle an object down around a cone and back and signal the next teammate to take their turn.
In the upper grades, the leaders of each team rotate after each race to the next team so all the teams keep switching it up and are fair and continue to work cooperatively.
