February is National Children’s
Dental Health Month. Many people are unaware of the important
role early dental care plays in children’s overall health.
Parents play a big part in helping
their children develop healthy teeth. Regular dental checkups,
brushing and flossing, a balanced diet, fluoride, and injury
prevention (mouth guards) are all important for healthy teeth.
All children should have a comprehensive dental exam by a
dentist during the early toddler years.
Starting children off with good dental
habits now will help them grow up with healthy smiles.

Dentistry

Mary Had a Little
Cold
(author unknown)
Mary had a little cold
But didn't stay at home
And everywhere that Mary went,
the cold was sure to roam.
It wandered into teacher's eyes,
And filled them full of tears.
It jumped from there to Bobby's nose
And then to Jimmy's ears.
It painted Anna's throat bright red
And welled poor Jenny's head.
Dora had a fever
And a cough put Jack to bed.
The moral of this little tale
Is very quickly said:
Mary could have saved a lot of pain
With just one day in bed!
