Welcome! My name is Mrs. Kathryn Botticello. You can call me Kate! This is my fourth year teaching kindergarten at Smith School. I am very excited to be back, and to meet a new group of eager learners!

I received my undergraduate education at Providence College and am dually certified in both Elementary and Special Education. My master’s degree is in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in reading from the University of Connecticut.

I like to read, run and play volleyball. I love
the beach. And I recently took up skydiving!!

I am here to support your child’s adventures and learning as best I can. I am committed to a strong parent-teacher relationship and look forward to getting to know and work with each of you throughout the year. This is going to be an exciting year ahead!
