Mr. Hassan was born and raised in Glastonbury, CT but has lived most of his adult life in Colorado.  He met his wife Liz skiing in Colorado and has a daughter, Annabel, 1 1/2 years.

He has a B.S. in Interdisciplinary studies from Plymouth State University and a Masters in Educational Psychology from the University of Colrado at Denver. 

Mr. Hassan was employed as a former counselor at a residential treatment center and has experience in teaching both fourth and fifth grades.  He will be starting his seventh year of teaching.

Mr. Hassan enjoys skiing, rock climbing, mountain climbing, travel, gardening and spending time at the parks with his family.
