NA'EELAH, Eagle

July 4th
by CATHERINE

Bright colors in the sky,
you can tell that it’s the Fourth of July.

Sparklers burning everywhere,
it is hard not to stare.

The colors are red, white and blue;
you knew that too.

The Fourth of July is the time of year
for everyone in America to cheer.

The Fourth of July is a time for you,
me and everyone else who wants to see.

The Fourth of July
by HANNAH

Everybody loves the Fourth of July.
There are fireworks, picnics, and more!
It is not just parties, it’s about independence!
At first, America was ruled by England.
Americans wanted freedom.
Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, and many others inspired American independence.
Today we celebrate these people for freeing America.
The Fourth of July is also America’s birthday.
So, before you go to fireworks or picnics, in your head say thank you to those who freed America.
Everybody loves Fourth of July.
Remember, the Fourth of July is not just about fun, it’s about history.
Have a great Fourth of July!
