My three favorite things to do on the Fourth of July are to go see my family in New Hampshire, shoot fireworks, and eat a lot of food.

When my mom, my brother and I go see our family in New Hampshire at first we always bring all our stuff inside and unpack. After that we normally go upstairs and say hi to my aunt, my uncle and my cousin. Once we finish saying hi to my aunt, my uncle and my cousin, we wait for the rest of my family to show up so we can shoot off the fireworks we bought.

When the rest of my family shows up we set off the kids’ fireworks first. When it gets darker we get a lot of the bigger fireworks and shoot those off before the grand finale. During the grand finale we strap all of our biggest fireworks together on a long fuse, light the fuse and watch all the fireworks go off. When we finish with our
fireworks we normally stay up till 12:00 A.M. and watch everybody else’s fireworks on the lake.

Before we shoot off our fireworks we normally eat a lot of food like steak, chicken, cheeseburgers, hamburgers, hot dogs, corn-on-the-cob, macaroni ‘n cheese, beans, chicken wings, and mashed potatoes with gravy.

The best part of the Fourth of July besides seeing my family, shooting fireworks, and eating a lot of food, is to sleep!

What are your favorite things about the Fourth of July? My favorite things are seeing fireworks, spending time with my family and going out to dinner.

I LOVE the fireworks!!! When one pops up in the air it is so cool to see the beautiful fireworks burst into different colors. The sound the fireworks make is like KA-POW! Seeing the fireworks is just great!

Spending time with your family on the Fourth of July is fantastic. When you’re talking with your family about the fireworks and laughing about it, all of that is family fun! This is the time you can sit down and relax with your family!

I also LOVE going out to dinner. Mmm-mm, tasting that yummy food is so good. The noodles, rice, and ice cream are so good. You can’t eat another bite. Just thinking about all that eating and eating makes my stomach growl. All that food is so tasty.

Those are my favorite things about the Fourth of July!
