Planning has begun to offer either/or after
school/morning techtorials on-site (Tech Training
Subcommittee chair
David Simon) to specifically address skill
development and integration. Time will be provided for
teacher exploration as well as content specific sharing.
A spring 2006 CSI will be
offered at Sedgwick to support using Front Page, a Web
Authoring Software.
Please contact

your sub web set up.
A listing of
on-line
tutorials will be maintained
as well as a listing of training opportunities.

to use SMART boards effectively?

There are currently 2 portable SMART boards in the
building. Check with
Lynne Hawkins in the library to sign one out for
your classroom.
eBeams are being installed in some classrooms
throughout the district.

share documents and resources within the district? |
R: Many
departments are exploring the use of
Blackboard (a Course/Content
Management System) which requires a
user name and password. Check with your dept. chair.
Within the building
documents can be shared by email or by using a folder on
the common (F) drive. Be aware however that this is an
unsecured site. |
