English: Author letter draft 3 - the graded draft. This must be typed (a contest
            regulation) double-spaced, 12-point, Times Roman font. It must be spell-
           checked and should be parent-checked for accuracy.

           Staple in the following order:
                Draft 3 on top
                Peer-edit sheet
                Draft 2
               Self-edit sheet
               Draft 1

               Late papers will be reduced a grade.

Reading: Per 1: Complete the A part of the connection question from Chapter 7.
             Per. 5: Complete questions 1 and 2 from chapter 7.

English: Study for the Unit 4 vocabulary test. It will appear on your first quarter
            grade. Remember that you have to spell each word correctly and use each
            word in a sentence that clearly shows your knowledge of its meaning. This
            could be a grade booster (or buster)!

                          White Lined Paper)

English: The letter to an author moves to draft 2. Begin by filling out the
          self-edit sheet. Then annotate (mark up) your draft 1. Feel free to make a
         real mess of it! Finally compose draft 2. It will save you much time later if          you type draft 2 on the computer (double-spaced, Times Roman, 12-point or          other plain font). Staple in this order: d. 2 on top, self-edit sheet in the
         middle, d. 1 on the bottom.
