Our Experience
Dana:
Casey and I had the privilege to
witness the steps and the process of “ghostwriting”. Ghostwriting is a type of
interview, and then later, a type of writing in article form. The writing is based on a person’s own
experiences, written and then edited by another. With only forty-five minutes
that we had to pull
out as much information as possible from the person; the result an
incredible article, as if written by the interviewee.
Casey:
I
agree with Dana, but being the writer of the article, I believe that there is one
more important part of ghostwriting. At the interview, so you can
find out all the information about the person, and the topic. You also have to
get inside the person's head. This interview for me was not about the information
provided, it was about getting
into the mind set and opinionated side of this person. This is so that when you have to elaborate more
onto the subject, you could do exactly what the person you are
writing for would have done. |
