An Inconvenient Truth: Debate

Recently, a new nonfiction video was released called An Inconvenient Truth, hosted by Al Gore. An Inconvenient Truth has been shown all over the country and also throughout the world, as he publicly speaks in front of a variety of people. Al Gore describes to the world the affects of global warming, what could be causing it, and what that could mean for the future. While this video includes some very inspiring and motivational footage and really focuses one of the world’s major concerns, much controversy has come about over the accuracy of the statistics, charts, and/or graphs included in this film. While some say that the information comes from a realistic, reliable source and aught to be trusted, others think that this film is much too exaggerated and perhaps biased. Now is your chance to develop your own opinion.

Below are some links that contain some extra information on our environment and global warming. You may visit these websites or any other’s you feel are reliable, as it may help to influence your point of view.
