Introduction

      Welcome third graders to the wonderful world of Beverly Cleary. If you can complete this web quest challenge you will become an expert on the world of Beverly Cleary.  In addition you will be meeting a neighborhood of realistic characters that may remind you of someone you know! Products:

1.           Use the information that you have uncovered through your scavenger hunt to write 8 questions for an interview with Beverly Cleary.

2.           Choose your favorite character. Write a letter to another character in the story. Select a problem and explain to the character how they can solve it.

3.           Compare yourself to a character from the stories. Explain how you are the same. How you are different. Why would you choose this character as a best friend?

4.           Pick an event in one of the stories that is similar to an experience you have had. Describe this experience and how it was the same or different from yours.
