Centers are based on themes dictated by the district curriculum. A few of these themes are seasons, trees and animals of the forest, Mexico and Great Artists. Our centers encompass all academic skills and levels. There
are specific requirements and activities during our center time depending on the
child’s individual needs. These
activities are discussed in circle time and are on going. Your
child will know that they have a certain amount of activities that need to be
completed.
During center time your child will learn time management, responsibility, decision-making skills, and independence. During
center time (and all day long) we are able to look at you child’s emotional,
social, and academic needs and move them along developmentally. Center
time places more emphasis on process than product and supports efforts and
interests. |
