PLAYING SQUEEZE
Sometimes we need to practice encouraging each other. Our class
discussed what encouraging looks like and what it sounds like. We then played a
game called Squeeze. Four groups challenged one another to put small objects on
a disk without touching other objects.
During each child's turn students encouraged them. If someone messed up classmates replied, "that's ok", "better luck next time", and "you did your best". We had a lot of fun and found that encouraging helped in the success of the group.
