On The Town
We went to Brother's Cafe for a fancy dinner. The traffic was horrible and we had to wait to leave the hotel. We had an excellent meal and Faith sat in her first highchair. Just after we got dessert the rain started and continued to intensify. Before we knew it we were in the middle of a monsoon it an outdoor cafe with massive umbrellas. They started evacuating the restaurant but we were staying dry and Faith had fallen asleep. The ride home was surreal, we made rooster tails at each intersection, hydroplanes, saw bicycles with water up to the axil and many stalled out cars. Our taxi driver plowed through and we made it home save and sound. Faith never woke up.
