Speech
and language therapists at Duffy School provide a variety of services to
mandated students, kindergarten through grade 5.
Direct therapy, individual and group, is provided to students with
disorders of speech, oral language, and hearing impairments.
Speech and language therapists also serve as consultants to parents and
classroom teachers.

services include prevention, identification, evaluation, treatment,
They conduct research to develop new
and better ways to diagnose and remediate speech/language problems, work with
children who have language delays and speech problems, and provide treatment to
people who stutter and to those with
voice and articulation problems.
