Passes
|
-
Library passes are required for admittance to the library for all periods,
including lunch periods, except for students on SRP. Library passes are obtained
from subject teachers or library staff. Study hall teachers do not issue
library passes. However, study hall teachers must co-sign passes written by
subject teachers. Students leave their passes on the desk upon entering the
library. After entering, students with a pass remain in the
library for the entire period.

Borrowing policies, loan
periods and fines
|
-
Books and most other materials may be borrowed for 3 weeks and they may be
renewed after that time if no one is waiting for them. Videotapes may be
borrowed for one day only. Audiovisual equipment may be borrowed by
students only with a
written permission slip from the teacher. Student ID cards may be requested but not retained for circulation of other materials.
-
Students take responsibility for materials and equipment used in the facility and
those checked out. Overdue fines are $.05 per day for circulating materials and $1.00
per day for videotapes. Photocopying and printing is
$.10 per page. Transparencies for student presentations are made free of charge.
