12 Checklist:
___ Review your child's Senior class schedule.

Read and review the school rules and regulations as listed in the
student handbook, distributed at the beginning of the school year.
Please read the attendance policy, especially as it relates to the
loss of semester credits.
___If your child has been granted Conditional Credit Status by the
Attendance Appeals Committee, please keep a record available of the
conditions outlined in the student contract.

Highlight important dates on the school calendar. Pay particular
attention to: the dates each quarter ends for report cards, progress
report distribution dates at five week intervals and exam dates.

Plan to attend the Open House in the Fall. ___
Attend the Senior College Planning Night with your child in
September. ___
Arrange to meet with college representatives in the Career Center.
___
Begin the financial aid process. Contact your counselor for
more details. ___
Attend the College Fair in October.
___ Attend the Financial Aid Night in December. ___
Be sure you and your child checks college application procedures, deadlines,
testing requirements and scholarship deadlines.

Review the Junior Planning Book for relevant, detailed information.
___
Plan to make site visitations to the colleges/vocational schools
on your child is interested in.
___
Complete and file all necessary documents for financial aid, noting
deadlines which may differ from college application deadlines. (FAFSA's
deadline is usually February 1st of the senior year.)
