11 Checklist:
___ Review your child's Junior class schedule.
___
Read and review the school rules and regulations as listed in the
student handbook, distributed at the beginning of the school year.
Please read the attendance policy, especially as it relates to the
loss of semester credits.
___If your child has been granted Conditional Credit Status by the
Attendance Appeals Committee, please keep a record available of the
conditions outlined in the student contract.

Highlight important dates on the school calendar. Pay particular
attention to: the dates each quarter ends for report cards, progress
report distribution dates at five week intervals and exam dates.
___
Plan to attend the Open House in the Fall. ___
Encourage your child to register for the appropriate College Board tests
(PSAT in the Fall, SAT I and/or SAT II in the Spring).
___
Attend the annual Open House, College Fairs (October and May) and
Junior Planning Night with your son/daughter (October), College
Panel (April) and Financial Aid Night (December).
___ Read and review the Junior Planning Book.
___
Discuss the twelfth-grade course selections with your student, carefully
noting graduation and college admission requirements.
___
Schedule an appointment with your student's counselor to discuss
post high school planning.
___
Work closely with your child's counselor throughout the year.
Prepare and plan college/career visits and interviews as needed.
___
If your student is an in an Advanced Placement course, consult with
his/her teacher regarding taking the AP exam and/or the SAT II Subject
Exam.
