College Representative Visits
All college representative visits are
held in the Career Center. Students are responsible
for obtaining the necessary passes from their classroom teachers who
will make the final decision whether to allow a student to attend a
college visit. If the student will miss all or part of a class,
it is the student’s responsibility to obtain permission from each
teacher. Sign-in will take place at the time of the college
visit; attendance will then be delivered to the Attendance
Office.

Scholarships
In an effort to assist you in
locating scholarships, the Guidance Department has
compiled an alphabetical listing of
scholarships with which we are familiar. These are
found in the red Scholarship
Information Booklet, which was sent home to every senior. For
your convenience, we are providing you with a contact name when
available.
As soon as scholarships arrive, they are placed in the “Scholarship
Application” file in the Career Center, which is accessible to
students whenever the center is open. Since scholarship information
and criteria may change from year to year, it is the student’s
responsibility to read applications carefully and follow the printed
instructions. We receive new scholarships every year, which are
specified on a separate posted list.
The
scholarship lists can be found outside the Career Center, on the
bulletin board in the cafeteria, in the Guidance Update and on the
Conard High School website.
