PERSONALMr. Neumaier has spent most of his career here in Connecticut involved in teaching French (6-12) and in leadership roles in the World Language profession. He also enjoys working with new teachers as part of Connecticut’s Alternate Route to Certification Program. In 1986-1987, Mr. Neumaier was selected as the CT Teacher Of The Year and spent that year as an active spokesperson teachers and for world languages. A 1991 recipient of the National Educator Award, Mr. Neumaier was also recognized for his service to the WL profession by receiving the Distinguished Service Award from the CT Council Of Language Teachers in 2000. Mr. Neumaier has traveled to many countries with students and with his family. He and his wife have two married sons and the three best grandchildren in the world!
