At Charter Oak Academy, the ESOL program works with English Language Learners. These students speak another language besides English in their homes.

Our program's goal is to develop the language skills that are necessary for students to achieve academic success in the mainstream classroom.

The language skills our program works on are vocabulary, listening, speaking, reading and writing.
