International Reading Assoc. - The home site of the largest organization of reading professionals in the world, includes featured articles from the most recent issue of The Reading Teacher, literacy links, editorials, position papers, regional and state conferences, and the last few years' of "Choices" awards.
Teaching Books- This is an amazing site with easily accessible book guides, up close author information, hundreds of audio excerpts for kids, and thematic booklists for teachers. Looking for a book to fit a unit of study- check here first!
Reading Lady- This is a wonderful site overflowing with information for literacy teachers. Everything you need to know to teach with four blocks, reader's workshop, and the Six Traits. She also provides extensive resources for author studies and readers' theater.
