You will be assigned one of the following: Patrick Henry, Paul Revere, Thomas Paine, John Adams, Abigail Adams, George Washington, Crispus Attucks, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, Jonathan Trumbull, Israel Putnam, James Otis, Roger Sherman, Alexander Hamilton, John Paul Jones, Charles Lord Cornwallis, John Burgoyne, Deborah Sampson, Marquis de Lafayette, Thomas Gates, General Rochambeau, Robert Morris, Thomas Gage, General Casimir Pulaski, William Howe, Baron von Steuben, Nathaniel Greene, George III, John Hancock, Ethan Allen, Samuel Adams, Nathan Hale, Benedict Arnold, and Martha Washington. You will research your colonial figure. Your report can take one of several forms; the ones listed below are suggestions. If you have your own idea, present it to the King for approval before starting your project.
Procedure for Task 3 1. On your own, visit your local library and take out a biography on your colonial figure. 2. Read the biography at home on your own. You may use R.A.H. time and entries as you read your book. 3. Meet with the King or Queen for approval of your biography project. 4. Work on your biography project at home. You may also bring it in to work on during free time at school, but you will not be given regular class lesson time to work on your project.
