You are to report to the King the effects of the major Acts passed by Parliament between 1760 and 1775. These include The Sugar Act, The Intolerable Acts, The Stamp Act, and The Townshend Acts. In your account, you are to give the background leading to the Act’s passage and its effects on the colonists. Lastly, you are to make a recommendation to the King as to whether Parliament should or should not repeal the Act. You must justify your reasons with specific examples. Your report may take the form of an oral presentation to the King (your teacher). During your report you must use at least one form of visual aid created by you: letters from colonists, maps, colonial newspaper accounts, artwork depicting scenes from the colonies.
