Morley Elementary School
Rights and Responsibilities
This document was developed during the 1998-99 school year by students representing each class at Morley School.
As a Morley student, I have the right:
To be treated fairly and respectfully. To have fun at school.
To learn and have my individual learning needs met.
To attend a school building that is safe and clean.
To feel safe at school. To feel included.
To feel comfortable to make my own decisions, and to have others listen to my ideas and opinions.
As a Morley student, I have the responsibility:
To treat others fairly and respectfully, as each Morley community member would want to be treated.
To do my best work and to not interrupt instruction. To follow directions.
To treat property and possessions with respect.
To
express my opinions appropriately and listen to the opinions of others. To ask
other if I am unsure.
During the school year, we will work to make these ideas a part of our daily
life at Morley. Join us as we share ideas about how we can do it!
