These are pictures of our Connecticut Building Project. On the first day we build the geographical features of the state of Connecticut on the auditorium floor. Children build wigwams in the classroom and place them on the map on the second day. We celebrate the Native Americans that lived here by reading poetry about Mother Earth. On the third day, the wigwams are removed and families join us in building the cultural features of modern day Connecticut.
