Bristow Middle School Mission Statement

The mission of Bristow Middle School, as a small learning community of choice that draws from every neighborhood school in West Hartford, is to empower all students to become passionate, lifelong learners and healthy, responsible citizens in an ever-changing world by engaging them in rigorous and innovative instruction within a supportive, dynamic environment that recognizes and respects each individual.

Connecticut Mastery Test - The Connecticut Mastery Test will be administered to all students in grades 3 – 8 during the month of March. The Connecticut State Department of Education has provided an informational brochure titled The Connecticut Mastery Test: What Every Parent/Guardian Should Know About the CMT for Grades 3 Through 8. You can access this brochure through the State Department of Education website at www.sde.ct.gov (student assessment). Copies will also be available in your school office.
