Social Work

Social work service supports students within special education and regular education programs who are involved in crisis.  While some counseling service is purchased from The Bridge, most is provided by the Board's social workers.

Social workers promote individual, group, and family counseling and serve as referral and liaison agents to outside agencies.

Townwide social workers provide crisis intervention, diagnostic, short-term counseling, and referral services to pupils and their families, K-5.  In addition, one social work position services the Special Needs population in grades 6-12.

One full-time social workers is assigned to the preschool, each high school, and to each middle school.  Two social workers are assigned to the Off-Campus.
