School Clubs are a fun way to become more involved in the school community,

The Art Club

Do you like to draw, paint and sculpt? Join the Art Club! Our projects will focus on plaster bandage mask-making, tie-dying, school murals and MORE! 

Book Club  

Students read and discuss a selected book each month. 

 
BRAVE  

National organization that focuses on developing tomorrow’s female leader’s confidence and self- awareness. Girls will work together to complete fun projects that benefit local and global communities. 

Drama Musical  

Spring Musical 

 
Drama Workshop

Students learn new acting skills, how to improvise and put on a Coffeehouse production. 

Intramurals

Sports, activities, and events that change by the season. Please see the KP website for details. 

KP Cares  

At KP, we strive to be respectful, responsible and good citizens. KP Cares is the a community service club open to students from all grade levels who want to help give back and do good for others. We will be doing service projects such as the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk, a holiday gift drive, penguin plunge and more. 

Kids Lit
 

An international literary competition for trivia questions, known as the “sport of reading”. Meetings will start in groups, then break to teams. 

 
MATHCOUNTS

National math coaching and competition program. Promotes student interest in math as a challenging and exciting sport. 

Mock Trial

Students become lawyers and witnesses to argue a ease against other schools before a panel of judges. Unparalleled opportunity to develop and practice public speaking, debate and logic skills. 


Science Club  

 

Can’t get enough of Science? This year we will explore magnetism, electric circuits and robotics. Focus will be on science and engineering solutions for problems in our world. 

Student Council

 

Enthusiastic 6-8th grade student leaders will be involved in school and community related events. Our goal is to create a great school climate by organizing and implementing school wide and community events/activities as well as student led forums that will address student concerns. 

 

TSA/VEX Technology Student Association 

Opportunity for students to participate in a variety of technology & engineering related challenges including; building and testing model bridges, gliders etc., designing and creating animations and coding websites as well as robotics. 

 Unified Theater

At Unified Theater, young people with and without disabilities, of all backgrounds, come together as equals to put on a production. The production is entirely organized, written, and directed by the students themselves. In over sixty schools across the country over 6,000 students with and without disabilities have performed to almost 10,000 audience members. The concept is simple: let teens lead, let creativity rule, and put the Spotlight on Ability.

 

Yearbook Club 

Students will take candid pictures of events, organize photos, compile our yearbook and, choose the cover.
