Thursday March 21, 2019 is World Down Syndrome Day! Rock Your Socks! World Syndrome Day is a day set aside to raise awareness and educate the general public about Down Syndrome and to raise public awareness and be part of the global voice for advocating for the rights, inclusion, and well being of people with Down Syndrome. On Thursday March 21st you can show your support by wearing brightly colored socks to signify the extra chromosome that people with Down Syndrome usually carry.
Juniors- Please remember to check your email if you have above a 3.7 GPA for your NHS application. Applications are due this Friday March 22nd!!!. Please drop them off in room 113 in between classes, before school, or after school.
The Post-Secondary Options Fair will run during periods 4-7 today in the hallway outside the cafeteria. Community colleges, military branches, technical and cosmetology programs will be available for students to explore during their lunch period. Students should see Ms. Barry in the College/Career Center for more information!
The Library Book Club will meet tomorrow, March 21 after school in the library tech lab to discuss Sadie by Courtney Summers. See you there!
Are you interested in refining your leadership skills, assisting younger students with their transition to high school, being a mentor to others in our building? Then becoming a link crew leader may be for you! The link crew application has been emailed to all sophomore and junior students, please complete by Friday March 29th. Come see members of the senior class perform their favorite songs tonight in The Lip Sync Battle in the auditorium. The Show is from 7 to 9pm. $5 tickets are sold at the door.
